It’s been over a week since the vernissage for the first exhibition of my life, and it still feels surreal. If you don’t know, me and Alicia had an exhibition together in collaboration with an art society in Spånga. I didn’t take a single picture during the actual vernissage, but took a few when we were hanging the creations a few days earlier! So I thought we’d take a look!
It took a few hours to hang it all, and was harder than I thought it would be. But it turned out great. Though my pictures looked so small all of a sudden, stupid gigantic room!
We had to decide the order and discussed where to hang what picture and stuff and it was all really fun!
These are the pictures that I chose! So far I’ve sold three of the black roses and the one with flowers and fire beneath the swan! So exciting to sell something!
And then there was Alicia’s side of the room, which was just FANTASTIC. She’s such a master. Check out her pictures from the exhibition here.
And also, today we’ve launched a new and very exciting thing with Monthly Makers – a new way for you to find creating and creative friends! It’s in Swedish, and it’s happening over at Alicia’s blog. You can go there and comment a little bit about yourself and then just find other people in the comment section to contact! Instructions are in her post, which you can find here. REALLY exciting! If you need more reasons to why this is amazing – here’s a post I wrote a while ago about my creative friendship with Alicia.
Oh and also, I’m leaving the country today to go with my mother to her new apartment in Valencia and I’m going to stay there for two weeks, so I will see you when I get back. <3 I’m so excited about sun and warmth and everything. IIIH.
